Anicca

This project is already more than a couple years in the making, and I’m no good at keeping my mouth shut when it comes to personal projects. So here’s a little bit of it. :)

Set against the sweeping rice plains of central Thailand, Anicca examines the foundational Buddhist concept of impermanence (Anicca). Through the life of Pranom, a retired farmer, the series explores the universal cycle of birth, growth, death, and decay. The simple yet universal nature of his final years help to distill an almost inscrutable concept.
